Objective

After completing the course, the student knows different chassis construction materials, bonding and joining methods, corrosion prevention and body downweighting. Also, the student can select the correct damage repair methods and is capable of using the Cabas software for determining damage repair costs.

Vehicle body sizing and dimensioning
- Ordinary and high strength steels
- Non-steel body materials
- Weldability of different materials, gluing and other bonding and joining methods
- Body downweighting possibilities
- Reparability and repair methods of modern body materials and structures
- CABAS software for determining damage repair costs
