Objective
After completing the course, the student can:
- is familiar with the principles and basic tools for the responsible use of AI in studies
- is able to use basic operations and functions of spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel)
- is able to utilize arithmetic comparison operators in spreadsheets
- can use spreadsheet software to visualize existing data
- knows the basic use of word processing software (e.g. Microsoft Word)
- is able to create the basic structure of a document using a word processing program
- become familiar with software for demanding technical computing and simulations (e.g. MathWorks MATLAB)
- is able to collaborate online (e.g., using Teams), share files, and collaboratively edit shared documents

- Guidelines, instructions, and tools related to the use of artificial intelligence
- Spreadheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel):
- Basic use of spreadsheet software (cell references, layout modifications etc.)
- Basic functions of spreadsheet software
- Arithmetic comparison operators AND and OR, and their functions
- Data visualization using spreadsheet software diagrams
- Word processing software (e.g. Microsoft Word):
- use of document styles, numbering, document parts, automatic table of contents, usage of formula editor
- Demanding technical computing and simulation software (e.g. MathWorks MATLAB):
- introduction to basic software usage
- Basic use of Teams: creating a team, instant messaging, file sharing, organizing and attending online meetings
