Objective
After taking part in this module, the student:
- knows flow mechanics and the guiding principles of equipment applying flow mechanics
- Knows how to design different fluid pipelines, ducts and circuits
- Knows the operating principles of pumps and blowers, and can design, maintain and adjust different kinds of equipment
- Knows different flow modes and their effects on processes
- Knows the significance of various fluids in different industrial sectors.

Alternatively, two mid-term exams, one of which is for fan technology a 2x 45 min and the other for pumping technology. a 2x 45 min

The student takes the matter up with the teacher if necessary.
Students from previous annual courses who are renewing, will be given the opportunity to take an exam for the entire course at once if necessary.
Previous courses of similar content at other educational institutions, especially technical colleges or universities of applied sciences, can be credited either partially or completely.

Returning an exercise assignment late is basically grounds for rejection. For justified reasons, a later date is allowed when the matter has been agreed upon well in advance.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
Items to be evaluated
- Exam grade, great weight in the final grade
- Laboratory report returned but incomplete and uncorrected
- Exercise returned incomplete
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
The exam with a grade has a lot of weight. Each part performed excellently while the other one is weaker, the grade ends up in this interval.

Exam grade excellent 4.5 -5
Tasks done excellently
Homework done excellently
Laboratory reporting done excellently
Exercise work done excellently
If the student gets a 4.5 on the final exam and performs excellently in other areas, the grade can be increased to 5.
If the student gets a 5 on the final exam and the tasks done in other areas are at least good/excellent, the student gets a grade of 5.
