Students will:
- work on their own (given and self-chosen) measuring and/ or monitoring-related project that is (close to) a real-world problem
- utilize their know-how to solve a virtual environmental and/or technical problem using an existing data set
- present their results through a comprehensive reports and presentations

- Common discussions on project ideas and implementation
- Group work related to measurement techniques and data analyzes based on students field specialization
- Intermediate and final project presentations and report

Opintojaksolla (ja moduulilla) annetut materiaalit, lähtötiedot ja datat sekä itsenäinen oman projektityön lähdemateriaalin hankinta.

Pedagogic approaches and sustainable development

Opintojakso noudattaa innovaatio pedagogiikan toimintatapoja, joissa opiskelijan aktiivinen rooli ja vastuu oman projektiryhmän työn aikataulutuksesta ja toteuttamisesta. Moduulin muilla kursseilla opittujen tietojen ja taitojen soveltaminen toteuttavaan käytännön TKI-hankkeen tavoitteisiin kytkettyyn projektiin (teoriatiedon soveltaminen käytäntöön).

Vesinäytteenoton ja -mittauksen projektityöstä arvioidaan:

- Puolivälin- ja lopullisten tulosten esittäminen
- Projektin loppuraportti
