After the course the student
- understands the causes and risks of urban flooding
- can see the links between stormwater management solutions, ecosystem services and urban planning
- knows what kind of technical solutions are used in integrated stormwater management and understands how they work
- knows which things must be considered when assessing the suitability of different stormwater management options in different situations and knows the basics of technical planning

Introduction to sustainable urban stormwater management concepts and it’s applicability in the Baltic Sea region

The learning in the course happens through studying different course materials provided in the Its learning -platform (videos, texts and pictures, lectures), through observing and learning stormwater management solutions in real environment and through working on the course assignments.

There is no end exam, all the quizes and the course assignments must be done by the given dead-lines.
