Objective
The student shall be able to-define the health and well-being status of an individual, different social groups and the population-define the essential indicators of health and the methods of health promotion-define the essential national and international health problems-explain the essential national regulations and programmes of health promotion-explain the essential content of health promotion in mental health and drug abuse, nutrition, sexual health and physical activities.-be familiar with the basic concepts of ethics and ethical code in health care-work in an ethical manner in his or her profession

Health Promotive and Ethical Nursing HEET Promotion of health and well-being 3 cr PROHE Content-the national and international health status and the main health problems of different age groups-the challenges of health status in social and health services-the essential national regulations and programmes of health promotion (Terveys 2015, Hyvinvointikertomus)-health promotion and promotive health care at individual, group and society level-the essential indicators of health and the methods of health promotion, the essential content of promotive mental health and drug abuse, nutrition, sexual health and physical activities.Ethics in health care 2cr ETHIC Content:- essential concepts of ethics: ethics, moral, norms- values, principles and norms in healthcare and nursing- patients rights and self-determination- professional ethics and the essential challenges in healthcare professional ethics- internationalisation and multiculturalism - challenges in health care ethics
