Content scheduling

- investigative development of the nursing and basics of the project work and development activities
- research / study process (basic and applied research)
- scientific research
- research methods
- progress and structure (research plan, data collection, analysis and report) of qualitative and quantitative research
- analysis methods (basic statistics and content analysis)
- validity and reliability of the research
- the ethical and legal premises of investigative development
- customer and nursing experts in various teams and projects

Objective

The student shall be able to- master the nature and course of healthcare development and in health-sciences research processes and use the related informationacquisition, analytical and reporting methods- use research and development work methods- interpret statistics and draw the correct conclusions from them- use the Excel and SPSS spreadsheet software in analysing and reporting data

Content

Contents:- development and research activities targets- core concepts: development work, development and developing, basic research, applied research, research development, project, scheme- the ethical and legal premises of research development- the stages of a development project- data, evidence and evidence-based development- research methods- collection, processing and analysis of data- research reliability and ethics- statistical methods and tools in processing and developing data in nursing and healthcare- planning and reporting of development and research work

Seminars are based on the international research articles, project work, learning cafe, innovative discussion

Student workload

Student's workload (5 credits, 133 h): Lectures (20 h), seminars and group works (4 x 2 h) 28h, independent work 98 h, participating in the exhibition of Bachelor’s Thesis (3-5 h) and Exam (2 h).
