Content scheduling
CONTENT: Internship
TIMING: Four weeks practical training during weeks 10-22.
Objective
The student shall be able to- deepen his or her operational skills as well as the knowledge and concept of midwifery, care, nursing and nursing management and his or her own professional growth- independently plan the patient's overall care and implement and evaluate it based on the care plan- take overall responsibility for patient care in his or her workgroup- develop care and its prerequisites as a nursing expert in his or her work unit- deepen his or her medicinal treatment competence in the different areas of nursing (Medication Passport)- master characteristics of clinical nursing and the related documenting, and understand the role of documenting in the development of nursing.

The contents will be published in the implementation plan The study units will consist of training units fulfilling the requirements of the EU/2005 directives.

Student workload
STUDENT´S TASKS AND DUTIES:
- setting goals for practical training and returning those to Optima return box after first week of practice
- mid-term evaluation with supervisor and returning a written report of that to Optima return box
- final evaluation with supervisor and returning a written report of that to Optima return box
STUDENT`S WORK LOAD: 5 credits = 135 hours

Evaluation discussions with supervisors (mid-term and final evaluation) and self-evaluation.
