Objective

Specialisation in Nursing 1 8 cr ERI1
Students will
- Gain further proficiency in determining the need for, planning, administering and evaluating specialised patient care
- Learn to support and provide guidance to patients and their family members
- Learn to make decisions requiring nursing expertise in cooperation with the patient and other professional groups, as well as to support the patient’s resources to promote the patient’s health
- Understand the ethics and fundamental values of nursing and base their actions on current knowledge
- Deepen their pharmacotherapy competence in different fields of nursing (medication passport)
- Master the special features of clinical nursing and related documentation

Evaluation methods and criteria

Arviointikeskustelu. Asiakaslähtöinen, eettinen ja ammatillinen osaaminen, näyttöön perustuva kliininen osaaminen, opetus ja ohjasuosaaminen, yhteistyöosaaminen sosiaali-ja terveydenhuollon toimintaympäristöissä ja hoitotyön kehittäminen arvioinnin kohteina.

Further information

Ennen jakson alkua: CV:n laatiminen ja pitäminen aktiivisena harjoittelujakson loppuun asti, perehdytystunnille osallistuminen. Perusharjoittelujaksojen suorittaminen hyväksytysti (SIKI1 ja 2, MIHA, PETHA).
Jakson aikana: Läsnäolo osastolla, tuntimäärän täyttyminen.
Tavoitteiden laatiminen (lähetettävä opettajalle) ja tavoitekeskustelu ohjaajan kanssa, välikeskustelu (tieto opettajalle), loppuarviointi ja itsearvioinnin tekeminen.
Jakson jälkeen: Palautetunnille osallistuminen, arviointilomakkeiden ja työvuorotaulukon täyttäminen ja palauttaminen opettajalle.
