Opinnäytetyön aihe liittyy johonkin hoitotyön kannalta merkittävään osa-alueeseen, mikä mahdollistaa opiskelijan ymmärryksen ja osaamisen syventämisen tällä alueella.

Vko 44: Opinnäytetyön suunnitelmaseminaarit (OPSU) ti 27.10 ja ke 28.10 (OPSUn palautus 23.10 klo 10.00 mennessä). Seminaarit ovat pakollisia kaikille.

Objective

BACHELOR’S THESIS 15 CR

- Students will
- Learn to identify the key development needs in their professional duties and solutions to them
- Learn to work independently and (critically) assess and use research information in their field
- Learn to adhere to the principles of research ethics
- Learn to handle cooperation partnerships responsibly
- Develop and demonstrate their ability to apply their knowledge and competence in practical expert assignments related to their professional studies
- Learn to use supervision to advance their Bachelor’s thesis
- Learn to present their progress as well as to give and receive feedback
- Demonstrate their familiarity with the field of their thesis as well as their language skills
- Learn to perform and document their work and to communicate the results

- Getting acquainted with the thesis process
- Selecting and defining the topic
- Creating a theoretical basis
- Choosing a method of implementation
- Presenting a written plan and serving as an opponent to another student’s work as agreed

Student workload

Opinnäytetyö tehdään yksin, parityönä tai kahta useamman opiskelijan ryhmässä, jos kyseessä laajempi selkeästi eriteltävä kokonaisuus tai opinnäytetyö on osa laajempaa projektia. Opinnäytetyö esitetään ja opponoidaan suunnitelmaseminaarissa. Opinnäytetyön tekeminen etenee toteutusvaiheeseen seminaarissa ja ohjauskeskusteluissa saadun palautteen pohjalta.

• seminaarit (opinnäytetyön suunnitelmaseminaarit sisältävät esitykset ja opponoinnit)
