- Students will
- Learn to identify the key development needs in their professional duties and solutions to them
- Learn to work independently and (critically) assess and use research information in their field
- Learn to adhere to the principles of research ethics
- Learn to handle cooperation partnerships responsibly
- Develop and demonstrate their ability to apply their knowledge and competence in practical expert assignments related to their professional studies
- Learn to use supervision to advance their Bachelor’s thesis
- Learn to present their progress as well as to give and receive feedback
- Demonstrate their familiarity with the field of their thesis as well as their language skills
- Learn to perform and document their work and to communicate the results

Bachelor’s Thesis Reporting and Maturity Test 8 cr
- Supervised thesis work
- Presenting and defending the thesis and serving as an opponent to another student’s work as agreed
- Maturity test
- Publication of the thesis

Kypsyysnäyte 27 h (1 op) kirjoitetaan ATK-luokassa

Evaluation methods and criteria

Osallistuminen seminaareihin ja opinnäytetyön messuihin (100%; poissaolot seminaarista/messuilta korvataan opettajan ilmoittamalla tavalla), hyväksytty opponointi, hyväksytty opinnäytetyön raportti (T1–K5). Seminaarissa esitetty työ arvioidaan Turun AMK:n arviointikriteerien mukaisesti. Ryhmässä tehdyssä opinnäytetyössä yksittäisen opiskelijan työpanos on tarvittaessa oltava osoitettavissa ja arvioitavissa. Opiskelija saa arvioinnista kirjallisen lausunnon. Jokainen opinnäytetyö käy läpi plagioinnintarkistusohjelman (URKUND).
