Objective
BACHELOR’S THESIS 15 CR
Students will
- Learn to identify the key development needs in their professional duties and solutions to them
- Learn to work independently and (critically) assess and use research information in their field
- Learn to adhere to the principles of research ethics
- Learn to handle cooperation partnerships responsibly
- Develop and demonstrate their ability to apply their knowledge and competence in practical expert assignments related to their professional studies
- Learn to use supervision to advance their Bachelor’s thesis
- Learn to present their progress as well as to give and receive feedback
- Demonstrate their familiarity with the field of their thesis as well as their language skills
- Learn to perform and document their work and to communicate the results
Content
Bachelor’s Thesis Plan 7 cr
- Getting acquainted with the thesis process
- Selecting and defining the topic
- Creating a theoretical basis
- Choosing a method of implementation
- Presenting a written plan and serving as an opponent to another student’s work as agreed

- Kirjallisuushaku teoriaosaan.
- Opinnäytetyön lajin mukaisesti käytetään (toiminnallinen/tutkimuksellinen opinnäytetyö) omavalintaista menetelmäopasta/-oppaita
- Perusopas Hirsjärvi, S., Remes, P. & Sajavaara, P. 2014(tai uudempi). Tutki ja kirjoita. Bookwell Oy, Porvoo.
