Objective

NURSING OF INTERNAL MEDICINE PATIENTS 5 cr NIMP for Chinese nurses covered by the previous Nursing Decrees 2 credits, to be implemented 3 creditsThe student shall be able to- use his or her knowledge and problem-solving skills systematically and as appropriate for the treatment of an internal medicine patient- explain his or her actions and view patient treatment on the whole based on evidence- take into account the individuals' life situation, quality of treatment and future challenges- improve his or her competences in medicinal and infusion treatment of internal medicine patients- administer immediate first aid in sudden attacks to internal medicine patients- master the patient's advanced life support- explain special issues relating to the nutrition of an internal medicine patient- guide the patient in managing his or her own health problem as well as in lifestyle changes necessary for common internal medicine illnesses-monitor the status, symptoms and effectiveness of treatment of an internal medicine patient and draw the necessary conclusions.-define and document the treatment needs of an internal medicine patient, plan and implement treatment as well as assess its effectiveness.
