Content

The main objective of the course is for the students to understand that social and health care are inseparable from the economic, social and cultural policies. The students are introduced to the basic mechanisms and the political decision making procedures in order to provide health care services based on the national and international perspectives. The students know the structure of the Finnish health care system, the decision making mechanisms and the financial systems. The students know the current situation and are aware of the future challenges.
