Objective

The course can be executed as stand alone or it could be integrated into a module After completing this course you will: • Understand the function of a organization • Be able to distinguish different management models and reasons to use them • Understand that people are different and how it affects communication • Realize how to utilize individual strenghts in team work • Understand the legal framework and its limitations and liabilities in work guidance • Understand the possibilities of various tools in team management • Understand the basics of business unit budgeting • Understand the function of business unit in relation to income statement of a company • Understand the role of management accounting in operational management • Be able to do a project (1 ECTS) under guidance to cover some the topics of this course

Online course implementation. Student works independently on Moodle platform. Student workload is approximately 27 h / credit.

Teaching methods

This is a online course for the Campus Online students. This course is completely done in remote study mode. A student may show his/her knowledge through skills demonstration to the teacher or apply for the recognition of prior learning (RPL) based on previous education or work experience. Please discuss first with the teacher. The application is addressed to the study counsellor.

Evaluation methods and criteria

All the assignments for this course are on the learning platform – Moodle. The grade is formed on the basis of the weightings of the online exams, taking into account the individual final grade of each exam. Assessments are not made during June and July.
