Objective
The course is intended for students whose mother tongue is not Finnish. The language level of the course is B1. You will be able to speak and write in a variety of situations at work, e.g. customer service, making appointments, meetings and negotiations, and chatting with colleagues. You can tell about your work and profession and understand texts and speech about work. You understand work-related instructions and can write the most important work-related texts.

Teaching methods
After the course, you will be able to speak and write in a variety of work situations, such as customer service, making appointments, meetings and talking to colleagues. You will be able to talk about your work and your profession and understand work-related texts and speech. You will also be able to understand work-related instructions and write key work texts. The course is an online course and you will work independently on the online platform. There are no lessons or teaching sessions. You will receive teacher feedback and a grade at the end of the course.

Evaluation methods and criteria
The course includes various independent tasks and small exams, which are assessed at the end of the course. The assignments will be graded to give an overall grade for the course.
