Objective
Learning Outcomes At the end of the module: - You will know the anatomy and physiology of the pelvic floor. - You will be able to draw conclusions about the significance of the pelvic floor as part of well-being, health, and functionality. - You will recognize pelvic floor dysfunctions and be able to describe various methods for their examination and assessment. - You will know different methods for treating pelvic floor dysfunctions and be able to apply them to client examples using evidence-based information.

- Anatomy and physiology of the pelvic floor. - The significance of the pelvic floor for well-being, health, and functionality. - Pelvic floor dysfunctions and their prevention. - Examination and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunctions.

Teaching methods
Opintojakso koostuu itsenäisestä materiaaliin tutustumisesta, tallennetuista verkkoluennoista ja oppimistehtävistä. Voit edetä opintojaksolla omassa tahdissasi niin, että kaikki opintojakson oppimistehtävät on palautettu opintojakson suoritusajankohdan sisällä.
Exam schedules
Opintojaksolla oppimista arvioidaan erilaisilla oppimistehtävillä, jotka voit suorittaa oman aikataulusi mukaisesti opintojakson suoritusajankohdan aikana.
Student workload
Opintojakso on laajuudeltaan 5 op, joka vastaa 5 x 27 h = 135 h opiskelijan työtä. Tämä koostuu itsenäisestä materiaaliin tutustumisesta ja oppimistehtävistä.
