Objective

After having completed the course you understand the basics and meaning of strengths-based counselling in social and health care and employment services. You are able to observe and utilize the special features of digital counselling in your work. You are able to observe and utilize specific features of digital counselling in your work. You understand the concepts of agency and inclusion. You learn to include the ideas of agency and inclusion as crucial part of digital counselling and apply the suited methods and exercises.

Content

Meeting clients in digital environments requires specialized skills. In this course, you will gain the tools to consider the specific features of remote guidance in your own work and to utilize various methods that support interaction and inclusion. The course topics include: - Principles of counselling and strengths-based counselling - Special features of digital counselling - Including the ideas of agency and inclusion in digital counseling - Applying the suited methods and exercises for distant counselling This course is suitable for you if you want to strengthen your guidance skills while working in various digital environments. Location and time

Opintojakso suoritetaan verkko-opintoina Moodle-oppimisympäristössä. Opintojakso on jaettu pienempiin kokonaisuuksiin, jotka sisältävät tehtäviä. Tämä antaa mahdollisuuden tutkia opintojakson sisältöjä ja materiaaleja omassa tahdissa. Tehtävät mahdollistavat opitun soveltamisen suoraan työelämän tilanteisiin ja tapauksiin.

Teaching methods

Etänä tehtävä ohjaus sote- ja työllisyyspalveluissa -opintojakso toteutetaan kokonaan verkko-opintoina, jotka voit suorittaa itsenäisesti oman aikataulusi mukaisesti. Opintojaksolla on yksi tehtävä (etäohjaustilanteen taltiointi), joka edellyttää työskentelyä toisen opintojakson opiskelijan kanssa. Yhteiseen tehtävään menee noin yksi tunti.

Student workload

Neljän opintopisteen laajuinen opintojakso vastaa laskennallisesti noin 108 tunnin työmäärää.

Evaluation methods and criteria

Opintojakso arvioidaan hyväksytty/hylätty -arviointiasteikolla. Arviointikriteerit ovat tehtäväkohtaisia. Hyväksytty suoritus edellyttää opintojakson tehtävien tekemistä tehtävän kriteerien mukaan.
