Objective
The aim of the course is gaining an understanding of factors that result in rehabilitation needs and the purpose of rehabilitation from the perspectives of the individual, the community and society. Course competences: Assessment of needs and possibilities for rehabilitation Intended learning outcome: Assessment of needs and possibilities for rehabilitation: You recognise factors that result in rehabilitation and service needs as well as possibilities for rehabilitation at the level of individuals, communities and society.
Content
The core content of the course comprises concepts related to rehabilitation, factors resulting in rehabilitation needs, and the rehabilitation possibilities associated with them.

Teaching methods
This module is delivered entirely online (in moodle workspace). You can study according to your own schedule. You will supervise your own work and allow enough time for each module. You will orientate yourself in the different aspects of rehabilitation through text, audio and video materials and record your own personal objectives. You will familiarise yourself with the basic concepts of rehabilitation through learning materials. You can return to the definition of concepts or other content at any stage of the course. By learning about different stories of rehabilitation, you will outline the factors that cause rehabilitation needs and the possibilities for rehabilitation. You will understand the importance of assessing rehabilitation needs and opportunities in the overall rehabilitation process by learning from practical examples.
