• understand the key perspectives of the theoretical frame of reference of experiential education and learning and adventure education • examine current discussions and research on experiential learning and adventure education • demonstrate knowledge of the practical and theoretical aspects of experiential learning and adventure education • critically evaluate the potential, relevance, and applicability of experiential learning and adventure education in different professional fields, environments, and communities • reflect on developing expertise in the context of experiential learning and adventure education

• the history, philosophy, traditions, and essential theoretical concepts of experiential education and learning and adventure education • the rationale, principles and processes of instruction • current discussions and research

Teaching methods

Online course. Webinars, independent study, individual and group assignments, a learning diary. It is strongly recommended to attend the webinars.
