Objective

In the basics of wind power technology, knowledge related to wind power energy, production, legislation and YVA procedures is learned at a general level. The course introduces the basics of wind energy conversion, the main components of a wind turbine, the operating principle of a turbine, the equations of power production, the conversion of wind power into electricity and the energy efficiency of a wind farm, and the establishment of a wind farm.

Methods of completion

Independent study with assignments, materials and video clips in the Moodle platform. Acquisition of information from various Internet sources and websites of industry players. Completion of study guidance tasks in a scheduled manner in Moodle. Moodle exam.
