Understanding entrepreneurship as a career option vs. employment. Prerequisites and requirements for entrepreneurship. Testing and analyzing one's own entrepreneurial qualities. Prerequisites for starting a company: the path from innovation into a business idea. Planning the practical steps for starting a company, such as - conditions for profitability - identifying risks and managing them - considering revenue streams and the cost structure - increasing awareness through marketing
Objective
Student is able to - understand entrepreneurship through personal development - find and utilize different customer oriented business opportunities.
Location and time
This is a nonstop online implementation. You can enroll at any time between 1 August and 15 December 2025, and complete the implementation at any time between 15 August and 31 December 2025.

Teaching methods
NOTE! ******************** This implementation NOT intended for students in LAB Faculty of Business and Hospitality Management. LAB business students have a corresponding, compulsory implementation included in their core competence studies. ******************** This is a nonstop online implementation. You can start it any time during the enrollment period and proceed at your own pace. There is no exam. The implementation is completed by submitting assignments to the Moodle platform. Evaluation takes place once a month. Students who have submitted all the assignments by the end of the month will receive their grade by the 15th of the next month (excluding holidays).

Evaluation methods and criteria
All the assignments must be completed and approved in order to get the grade "passed". It is not possible to complete single assignments afterwards, nor it is possible to take an exam. If the grade is "failed", the student must enroll to the next implementation and start it from the beginning.
