Content scheduling
The course introduces AI basics (core concepts, some history of AI, etc.), key AI terminology, and AI ethics and risks (academic integrity, hallucinations, AI bias, cognitive outsourcing, AI's impact on work, etc.). You'll also learn to leverage generative AI in the writing process and basic AI prompting techniques (few-shot prompting, role prompting, etc.). You'll complete the course by studying course materials, taking quizzes, trying out AI tools, and participating in online discussions to share and reflect on your findings with your peers. You can complete the course at your own pace. After completing all required coursework, you'll automatically receive a course completion badge, which will show in your Moodle profile.

Teaching methods
Continuous enrollment. This on-demand, self-paced online course focuses on generative AI in English. The course introduces AI basics, key AI terminology in English, AI ethics and risks, how to leverage generative AI in the writing process, and basic AI prompting techniques. You complete the course by studying course materials, taking quizzes, trying out AI tools, and participating in online discussions to share and reflect on your findings with your peers. You can study at your own pace. You will automatically receive a course completion badge, which will show in your Moodle profile. NOTE: Please do not enroll if you have already completed AI Corner. This course is an updated version of AI Corner and covers much of the same content.

Evaluation methods and criteria
The course is graded pass/fail. After you have completed all required coursework, you will automatically receive a course completion badge, which will show in your Moodle profile. After receiving the badge, contact the course instructor to have your 1 ECTS credit registered in the system.
Qualifications
The course is suitable for anyone with little to no prior knowledge of using generative AI in English. The course is at the CEFR B2 English level. To successfully complete the course, you should have strong English skills. You should also have good digital skills and be comfortable signing up for online systems.
