Content scheduling

After completing the course, the student is able to:

- develop working competencies
- apply human resource management principles in workplace
- apply employment relationship legislation in workplace
- solve problems in workplace

Content of the course:

- principles of human resources
- competence management infrastructure and methods
- basic labor legislation and occupational safety legislation
- supervisor´s role in solving problems in workplace

21.4.2021 at 16.00-18.00 Online: Basics of labor law and occupational safety legislation
28.4.2021 at 9.00-13.00 Online: Competence management infrastructure and methods
2.6.2021 at 11.00-16.00 Campus, EduCity: Supervisor´s role in solving problems in workplace

Homeworks and deadlines:

HOMEWORK 1: The core of labor law based on the literature. Will be published on 21.4. DL 15.5.
HOMEWORK 2: Assignment related to the competence management. DL 15.5.
HOMEWORK 3: Experimental essay related to a workplace conflict / interaction problems in the workplace. The assignment will be discussed at the meeting on 2.6. DL 15.5.

The course is mainly conducted remotely in Zoom (except for a face-to-face meeting on campus on 2.6.). The learning environment for the course is Itslearning, where you will find a Zoom link to the online meetings.
