The goal of this course is to
1) gain insight on resilience in companies operational and strategical level
2) understand the needs of future development items in rapidly and unpredictably changing environment
3) learn collaboration skills in international teams and increase understanding of different cultures and resilience in other cultures
4) expand knowledge of personal resilience; finding ways to cope with the uncertainty
By working in international project teams, students develop their knowledge in cross-cultural teamwork. Due to the blended elements, students also enhance their digital competencies and by attending taster courses in the hosting institution’s native tongue, they improve their language skills and language awareness as well. They also enhance their communication skills with people from other cultural backgrounds and reflect cultural differences.

Exploratory Learning/Inquiry Based Learning (IBL), Active Learning.
Team-based learning: together – students define information needs, find answers to questions, solve tasks and formulate an outcome. Each student should participate actively in and come well prepared to all the group activities. Sharing is the key. Co-creation should happen in dialogue.
IBL: problem solving – students identify information needs, formulate research questions, search appropriate information, share and discuss information in group meetings, use information and insights to develop/describe an outcome

Innovation pedagogy
Innovation pedagogy i.e., Innopeda refers to a learning approach which aims at the development of the innovation abilities of individuals and groups.
The aim of Innopeda is to produce information, skills and attitudes which not only provide a sound basis for success in working life and for developing working life, but also for a good life and building a sustainable future.
Innopeda is a strategic approach which we implement in teaching and learning and in the structures and processes which support them.

The student has not been active in group work and other activities and has not been present in events/workshops/lectures. There are fundamental flaws in know-how, activity and deliverables. As an example, the student has not done required information search, has not read required literature or has not used the tools or theories, not participated to presentations, tasks are missing or returned after the deadline. No COPYPASTE is allowed.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
The student is able to use business terms and theories when she/he is explaining his/her findings and observations. Can describe, classify and list. The output describes the phenomena, but does not contain deliberation or insights.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
The student understands the big picture and uses theories to describe it. Shows ability to apply some basic principles and is able to make combinations. Uses acquired materials.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student is able to understand critical success factors of an industry and a company, understands theory and is able to motivate his/her findings. Is able to see areas that needs to be developed and thinks critically. Materials of high quality has been found and used correctly.
