Objective
After completing the course the student is able to:
- work as an expert in the social and health care services
- solve problems in health promotion and develop innovative solutions
- understand and participate to the societal decision-making
- explain the structure, decision-making and financing system of a service system and develop the service system to meet the population's needs

- Social and Health care services and their current challenges
- Promotion of health and well-being in the societal decision making
- Policy work, management and leadership related to health promotion

Evaluation methods and criteria
Written work and oral presentation will be evaluated with numbers 0-5 by using the following criteria:
1. Theoretical background and references
2. Structure, content and logic
3. Presentation of the topic
4. Personal argumentation and discussion
5. Formal compliance with the instructions.
Other tasks of the course will be evaluated as pass/fail.
