In order to complete the course, the student must be present in lessons (min. 8 of 11 lessons + a small group meeting in week 48) and do the pre-class work and the tasks by the given deadline.

Preparing and completing the course tasks 50hrs
Individual report and reading and analyzing of source material 60 hrs

Content scheduling

The aim of this course is to make the student familiar with logistics terminology in English. The student will be studying and learning the English language and terminology used in different areas and operations in the field of logistics, for example warehousing, shipping and packing goods, modes of transport, purchasing and inventory management as well as negotiations. 

Weekly lessons during weeks 36-48.

The course starts on Thursday, September 5 in Teams. The link to the meeting can be found in the timetable and in the course's itslearning workspace. Most lessons take place at the campus and only one other lesson will be in Teams.

Assessment methods and criteria

The course tasks must be completed by the given deadline and there is no possibility to do them late or again in order to raise the grade (as stated in the degree regulation).
The course is assessed numerically and the final grade is based on the following criteria:

5 pre-class work tasks (0-1 point from each task)
6 course tasks (0-1 point per task)
Negotiation task (0-2 points), mandatory
PESTEL presentation (0-2 points), mandatory
Individual report (0-5 points), mandatory
