Objective
Students are able to
- to design, implement and evaluate the circus education of different ages and skill levels circus students
- evaluate their own work,
- assess and promote their students' learning
- to work with good interactive attitude as teaching assistant and in teacher roles
Content
Students plan and implement the circus education of different ages and skill levels of circus students. Training is divided into orienting training, basic training and in-depth training. Orientation training and basic training take place in the Arts Academy as a service activity. In orientation the students act as a teacher's assistant and in basic training they work with a partner as a teaching team. The advanced training takes place in different circus schools in Finland which are giving basic circus arts education. In advanced training students act as a circus teacher by planning, teaching and evaluating their teaching periods.
