The student understands the importance of good supplier relationships. The student becomes familiar with the supplier management, supplier evaluation and supplier development. He/she understands what the quality processes and sustainable development include from the companies´ point of view. She/ he is also able to:
- look at a supply chain as a whole
- outline the key challenges in the supply chain and how the key challenges in supply can be approached
- use concepts and ways of thinking of supply chains
- describe the importance of efficient purchasing and material control, transportation, distribution and logistics services for the competitiveness of modern companies in global supply chain
