Students will
• Learn to apply their knowledge to monitor the growth and development of adolescents and to support adolescents as individuals, family members, members of the school community and representatives of their own culture
• Learn to guide adolescents in their sexual development and changes, as well as in mental health questions at different ages, and be able to guide the adolescent’s family in
problematic situations
• Learn to apply their knowledge in the health problems of adolescents and in the resulting changes in the lives of families, as well as treat, guide and support adolescents and their
families in these questions
• Learn to work multiprofessionally to maintain and promote the health of adolescents and their families

• Growth and development of under-school-aged children, as well as regular follow-ups and screenings
• Risks/disturbances in the health and social development of school-aged children and adolescents and how to address them, e.g. bullying at school, school fatigue, obesity, depression
• Empowering support for children/adolescents and their families
• Health promotion in the school community and student welfare
