Objective

The aim of the course is to strengthen the student's own and the organisation's stakeholder communication skills. In joint meetings, discussions on current topics in stakeholder communication are held and communication skills are honed in practice through a variety of exercises. The aim is to learn about the opportunities and responsibilities of stakeholder communication and to gain support and new perspectives for developing organisational communication and networking. The course will assess the clarity and verifiability of sustainability communication and reporting, and how careful stakeholder communication can have a positive impact on an organisation's performance.

On completion of the course, students will
- understand the role of stakeholder communication in the development and reputation management of the organisation
- can communicate skilfully with different stakeholders and can evaluate and develop their own and the organisation's communication methods in a controlled and responsible way.

The course covers the following topics of stakeholder communication
- goal-oriented development of skills and competences
- the importance of collaboration and dialogue in networking and ethical practices
- transparency, openness and integrity
- tools on different media platforms
- accountability and reporting.
