Assessment methods and criteria
- The successful completion of the course requires the completion of all learning assignments (3).
- The assessment will be based on the pre-assignment, group and individual assignments.
- The course will be assessed with a grade of 1-5/pass.
Assessment criteria
PRE-ASSIGNMENT: The teacher assesses the task on a pass/fail scale.
The assessment will focus on the following points:
- The content and scope of the assignment are in line with the task description
- The chosen content is justified by appropriate references
- The assignment provides a clear and comprehensive overview of the chosen topic
GROUP ASSIGNMENT: The teacher will evaluate the presentation, and the grade (1-5/fail) will be 50% of the total course grade.
The following points will be taken into account when assessing the presentation:
- The content and scope of the presentation are in line with the assignment.
- Clarity of oral expression
- The presentation is visually appealing
- Analytical and problem-oriented approach to the topic
- Ideas are justified with reference to sources
- The presentation creates a clear overview of the topic
- The presentation conveys the contribution of each team member
There is also a peer assessment, which accounts for 20% of the total course grade.
INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT. The teacher grades the assignment on a scale of 1-5/fail. 30% of the course grade.
The assessment will take into account the following points:
- The content and scope of the assignment are in line with the assignment outline.
- Clarity of expression and structure of the text
- The text conveys personal reflection on the issues
- The course content has been used to support reflection or to help you structure your own ideas

Homeworks and deadlines:
HOMEWORK 1: The core of labor law based on the literature. Will be published on 21.4. DL 15.5.
HOMEWORK 2: Assignment related to the competence management. DL 15.5.
HOMEWORK 3: Experimental essay related to a workplace conflict / interaction problems in the workplace. The assignment will be discussed at the meeting on 2.6. DL 15.5.
The course is mainly conducted remotely in Zoom (except for a face-to-face meeting on campus on 2.6.). The learning environment for the course is Itslearning, where you will find a Zoom link to the online meetings.
