Objective
The course will broaden the understanding of the growing role of occupational therapy as an enabler of a sustainable future and the impact of society, culture and diversity on activity and participation.
After completing the course, students will be able to:
Analyse and evaluate the systemic interdependencies and the different dimensions of solutions to complex multidisciplinary problems
Develop and lead sustainable and responsible practices in their work and promote sustainability change in their work community and society, using planetary health and well-being perspectives
Interact and communicate internationally and develop activities in their field.
Develop multicultural and international environments and networks.
Examine critically and theorize national, European and global political, contextual structures and challenges based on occupational therapy for different populations. This includes the WFOT guidelines and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
