Koulutyöhön suuntaava sosiaalialan korkeakouludiplomi (60 op) on suunnattu henkilöille, joita kiinnostaa, tai jotka jo työskentelevät esim. koulunkäynninohjaajina, nuorisotyöntekijöinä tai koulukuraattoreina kouluympäristössä tai muuten lasten ja nuorten parissa.
Koulutyöhön suuntaavassa sosiaalialan korkeakouludiplomissa opinnot koostuvat sosionomi (AMK) -tutkintoon sisältyvistä, esim. kuraattorin tai kouluyhteisöohjaajan työssä keskeisistä opinnoista.
Jos hakijalla on tehtävään soveltuva sosiaali-, kasvatus- tai käyttäytymistieteellinen korkeakoulututkinto, on hänen mahdollista hankkia koulutyöhön suuntaavan sosiaalialan korkeakouludiplomin suorittamalla kuraattorin pätevyys.
Objective
Opintojen tavoitteena on perehtyä erityisesti kouluikäisten ja nuorten kanssa tehtävään sosiaalialan työhön, lapsi- ja perhepalveluiden tuntemukseen, palvelujärjestelmäosaamiseen sekä kulttuurisen moninaisuuden ja kotoutumisen tukemiseen.

Development
Opiskelu sisältää lähiopiskelua verkossa, itsenäistä opiskelua, pienryhmä- ja tiimityöskentelyä sekä harjoittelua työpaikalla. Opintoja on mahdollista suorittaa työn ohessa, varautuen kuitenkin viikoittaisiin verkkotapaamisiin.
Opetus järjestetään klo 16.00-18.00. Ensimmäisen lukukauden opetusviikonpäivä on maanantai. Myöhempien lukukausien opetuspäivä tiedotetaan ilmoittautumisten avautuessa seuraavan lukukauden opintojaksoille.
