Objective
After completing the course, the student
• recognizes the difference in humans, in their motivation and working styles
• can lead, coach and motivate subordinates and team members according to their difference and strengths
• communicate to clients and partners effectively according to their intrinsic working style
• Develop own performance taking in account his/her intrinsic strengths and development areas
Content
• Recognizing one's own working style and personal strengths and development areas in relation to one's career goals
• Emotional intelligence and its importance in working life
• Recognizing and utilizing clients working style in sales situations
• Recognizing and utilizing people's difference in management and teamwork
Materials
Course material and literacy are agreed with each student to fit into his/her development plan. It may include literacy of people evaluation methods, emotional intelligence, motivation, organizational climate etc.
Teaching methods
Student will read literacy according to his/her personal development plan.
He/she will develop his/her own work, or his organization or its part.
Guidance is available at lessons and private meetings with the teacher.
Lessons will include information of related topics, and also discussions of the development of other students.
The students have the possibility to get feedback of his/her own strengths and weaknesses in his/her own working style, emotional intelligence, management style etc using the tools available to the TUAS.

Working life relations are based on the personal development plan of the student in his/her own work. Also the study tasks are all planned to develop his/her own work or organization.
Completion alternatives
Studying is possible to plan individually and mostly remotely.
Student workload
Learning tasks will be agreed individually to fit the students work and development goals. They can be reported as presentations, written reports, study diaries etc. Resourcing is agreed with each student.
The course of 5 cr means on average 135h of work
There will be 10-12h of lessons
Private quidance takes about 2h/student
Individual work will have about 120h
This includes reading of theories and materials, planning and executing development plans at work, and reporting the actions to verify the learning

In the beginning the student will make his/her own study plan together with the teacher. He/she will then study relevant literacy and build his/her own professional development plan together with the teacher, using the tools of the TUAS to evaluate his/her own professional style and strengths/development areas.
There will be short lessons in relevant topics during the course.
The student will show his/her development with material and tasks related to his own work, for example:
- Development evaluations or reports of his own working
- Evaluations or reports of development of a part of his organization, team, organizational climate etc.
