Objective

After completing the course, the student can:
- has wide understanding of working principles of a diesel and gas engines
- can figure out boundaries that affect an energy efficiency and exhaust gas emissions
- hasbasic knowledge of engine process simulation and modelling.

- Engine power, fuel consumption and exhaust emission measuring principles
- Energy balance of engine
- Liquid and gaseous fuels
- Simulation and modelling of engine processes.
