• you understand the principles, terminology and process of service design
• you know how to use service design tools in different phases of the process
• you are able to design, develop and innovate services with the help of service design
• you know how to collect information about clients’ needs and analyse client insight in service design
• you understand the principles of user- and client-based development
• you know how to use visualisation in the service design process

Assessment criteria, fail (0)

- The student has not completed all assignments A, B, C and D
- The student does not know or understand the concepts and tools of service design and has not made a plan and implementation for a service design exercise

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

A prerequisite for satisfactory completion of the course is the completion and submission of all learning assignments of the course, The student has satisfactory knowledge of the concepts, principles and tools of service design. Students are able to apply them in simple tasks satisfactorily.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

A prerequisite for successful completion of the course is the completion and submission of all learning assignments for the course. The student is well versed in the concepts, principles and tools of service design and is able to apply the principles of service design well.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

A prerequisite for the excellent completion of the course is the completion and submission of all learning assignments for the course. The student is commendably familiar with the concepts, principles and tools of service design and is able to apply them commendably.
