Teaching methods
The course is mainly conducted online but includes two on-campus meetings on March 18, 2025, and May 20, 2025, from 9 AM to 4 PM.
Learning assignments involve planning your own competence development (e.g., through a reflection diary) and assessing the competence of your own work community and proposing actions. If you do not have your own work community or, for example, a hobby community to which you can apply the task, it will be challenging to complete the course.
The course applies both community-based and individual learning methods. During the course meetings, a lot of group work is done, and views are shared with other course participants. During the remote periods, mainly independent tasks are done, but some of them require the involvement of your own work community.
Exam schedules
No exam.
The grade given for the course based on learning assignments cannot be raised.
Pedagogic approaches and sustainable development
A sustainable future requires change-makers, so in addition to professional skills, the studies develop learners' innovation competencies, self-awareness, curiosity, ethical skills, leadership, empathy, and responsibility. The tasks utilize, among other things, the EU's GreenCOMP framework.
