Objective
The student knows the physical activity and nutrition recommendations for children and can utilize the contents of these recommendations in their coaching tasks. The student can describe the physical and psychological capabilities of children and adolescents, as well as the importance of nutrition at different stages of growth and development. The student recognizes the components of sustainable nutrition for athletic children and adolescents. The student identifies interaction that can promote a child's willingness to choose a variety of foods for growth, sport-specific development, and recovery.
