Content scheduling

The course on multimedia documentation covers a wide range of different ways and tools used in documentation. This may include photography, videography, recording, interviews, graphic design and other media-related skills. The course will focus on the principles of documentation, content design and information retrieval, taking into account the potential of different media technologies.

The course will be implemented as part of the Revive project and the outputs will be distributed to the international Living Lab workshop group in Turku in autumn 2024 as a preliminary material.

The course includes theoretical instruction on data collection, interviews and scriptwriting for a multimedia production, as well as an extended learning task in small groups, for which guidance is provided in joint brainstorming and feedback sessions and, if necessary, subject- and technique-specific guidance for small groups.

Participation in the course. Visual and written aspects of exercises. Individual and group work. Giving and receiving feedback, group interaction.

Assessment criteria, fail (0)

The student has not completed all the learning tasks. Student has participated to the group’s activities but has achieved little and superficial learning goals. Reflection and self-evaluation is missing or superficial.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student has completed all the learning tasks but has achieved little and superficial learning goals.Reflection and self-evaluation is superficial.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student has completed all the learning tasks and achieved the learning objectives well. The student has acquired and utilized current and relevant information in his / her assignments. The student has worked actively and in their reflection identifies development targets in their work.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has completed all learning tasks, achieved learning objectives, and demonstrated extensive knowledge of communication topics. The student has utilized current and relevant information in a versatile and creative way. The student is committed to work and has contributed to the achievement of goals.
The student recognizes their development in their knowledge and skills and finds areas for development in their reflection
