Objectives
Project-based training
Students will
• Practise project-based development of nursing
• Plan, perform and document nursing in a nursing development or enrichment project in cooperation with working life, a project or UAS’ business activities
• Project-based training can be included in practical training or linked to another training unit or project
Practical training
Students will
• Practise team management in nursing
• Practise assuming overall responsibility over the care of their training unit’s patients/customers in their working group and in multidisciplinary cooperation
• Reinforce their role as a member of a nursing team and advance on their path towards expertise in nursing
• Participate in the assessment and development of care
Entrepreneurship skills
Students will
• Complete practical training in a company, social enterprise, UAS’ business activities or another operating environment that has the characteristics of business activities
• Learn about the principles of business activities and how to apply them, ensuring profitability and managing customerships
• Learn about the laws, permit application processes and instructions related to business activities
• Learn about communications and marketing efforts related to business activities
• Learn about the rights and obligations of employees and employers
• Understand the success factors, innovation and constant development efforts of
Business activities
