Objective
Student can:
- Understand the context of service business and productizations
- Define productizations´ needs in different cases
- Describe the life cycle of products
- Develop services to cover different needs in products´ life cycle
- Analyze costs and profits of services
- Define deliverables of services
- Describe performance and productivity differences between different service options
- Make reasoned selections between different offerings
- Make reasoned offers for clients in order to improve their performance and productivity

Teaching methods
Exploratory Learning/Inquiry Based Learning (IBL), Active Learning. Team-based Learning:
IBL: problem solving – students identify information needs, formulate research questions, search appropriate information, share and discuss information in group meetings, use information and insights to develop/describe an outcome – in this course a solution (product+Services) for a defined customer group.
Team-based learning: together – students define information needs, find answers to questions, solve tasks and formulate an outcome. Each student should participate actively in and come well prepared to all the group activities. Sharing is the key. Co-creation should happen in dialoque.

Exam schedules
No exam, therefore there is no possibility to redo the returned or not returned tasks.
The assessment of this course is not based on a final exam but on separate learning assignments, all assignments (0-5 and pass/fail) must be submitted by the deadline set by the teacher and an accepted study attainment cannot be improved.
Fail/pass assessment is used in some assignments (self assessment and peer-review).
