Objective

This course aims to provide an overview of the new product/service development process starting in front-end innovation and ending in the release phase. It will give the students a deep understanding in how a service or product is conceptualized and finally launched to the market.
After completing the course the student

Objective

The competence objectives of the course depend a lot on the nature of the development task. However, the general competence objectives are as follows: After completing the course, the student is able to plan a work-based development project / RDI project and define the objective of the development project and the related key concepts and materials. In addition, the student masters good practical principles of development work as well as ethical principles and is able to report the results of development work and development proposals appropriately to stakeholders.

After completing the course, the student is able to:
-explain and justify the significance of the development project to the target organization and / or apply for RDI funding for the project
-describe the aim of the work as well as the key concepts, materials and materials
-apply the methods used in development work
-implement the development project successfully and efficiently within the framework of resources
-interpret and analyze the results of development work
-draw conclusions and suggestions for improvement
-report a good professional and scientific writing of the development project.

Objective

The aim with this course is to provide the students with perspectives on strategic management thinking through current developments both theoretically and practically.
After completing this course the student
•knows the key theories on strategic thinking, strategy formulation, strategic and change management
•is able to create and develop a strategy taking into account the roles and impact of the internal and external environment
•is able to use the techniques for making strategic decisions which are in line with the organization's vision and mission

Core content:
•the discipline of strategic thinking
•the key theories and perspectives on strategic management
•central elements of strategy, process of strategic management, dynamics of strategy process and the tools and models of strategy work
