Objective

After completing the course, the student is able to

- identify key stages in the early history of cinema
- list basic terminology for sound recording, filming and editing
- explains the importance of teamwork in the production process
- implement the basics of sound and image recording and editing software
- carry out the operation of the film gear reservation system;
- implement safe working practices
- encourage teamwork between oneself and others

Content

The course introduces the key stages of the early history of film and the basic terminology of filmmaking: field of view, image sizes, focal point, direction of gaze, motion cutting, atmosphere. The course teaches the use of film production equipment and the basics of editing software. During the course, the students learn safe working practices and practices.

After completing the course, the student is able to

Content

The course serves as the basis for studies in advertising design. The main content of the course is the basic concepts of marketing, target group thinking, goal setting and the most important competitive methods. The students learn to understand customer-oriented marketing planning and goal-oriented communication, also taking into account the themes of sustainable development. During the course, marketing analysis and planning exercises are carried out to achieve a common goal and develop teamwork skills.

Content

The main content of the course is the different forms and means of marketing communication needed in advertising design work. The students learn to have a broad understanding of media and other forms and features of advertising.
The course also applies the above-mentioned knowledge to systematic and process-like marketing communication planning. The course develops knowledge of communication channels in the media sector as well as planning, teamwork and presentation skills.

Content

The course introduces the key elements of concept design from the point of view of an advertising designer. Students get to know the processes of conceptual thinking and design tools and their importance as the cornerstone of advertising design. In the course, you learn to understand the importance of overall conceptual planning, from insight to individual campaign plans in different media, and you deepen your understanding of marketing communication strategic planning, customer understanding and problem solving.

The students familiarise themselves with information gathering and source criticism as key tools for journalists. They practice critical information gathering from different sources.
